One interesting fact about the Whing Ding is that any banking over 30 degrees either way results in a loss of altitude! This is one reason that any serious builder today, increases the general dimensions by 30%.
   The construction is very straight forward, using a foam filled box of aircraft spruce and plywood. The wings are fabric covered, and the 3" aluminum tube connects the tail to the front.
